Bloggers Block

I've written some pretty good stuff in my blog, but mostly in the begining. December and January were very theraputic. Just having Who's to Blame out there made me feel so much better. I guess there's a smattering of stuff I'm happy with each month after that, but especially after the letter to my parents, I'm just not producing anything I'm really impressed with.

So now I'm stuck. I've got nothing worthy of a blog rant. I thought about writing about my new computer or how much I hated my old one, but it just doesn't drive me to the keyboard.

So I need help. I want ideas for things to write about. Those of you who know me might come up with blogable memories you're sure I've supressed. Those of you who don't know me can help me make up memories that should be supressed (whatever that means).

Maybe I can turn this into a contest. Let's see who can come up with the best theme for Sylow's next post.

Hopefully, I'll at least find out who all is still reading this thing.

I think you should have MaryBishop-style post with the aim of driving the most absurd google-search-string to your blog. No particular topic, but inclusive of very strange and disturbing phrases, that in context aren't particularly weird, but when isolated, are bizzare.

Alternatively, you could write about your first memory, or the first time you got absolutely trashed, or your best day (real or imagined), or your worst day (again, real or imagined), your favorite dream, the time you dreamt that you went to work without your pants on, then realized it wasn't a dream, then woke up and realized it was a dream, you think...

I think I'm going to write in my blog - given myself lots of ideas...

I like the dream tip that the captain is leaning towards. How about the most memorable-most prophetic dream you've ever had. Something that stands out to you-even after 10-15 years.

I think you and I should follow thru on that deal we tried once on where we write a few words at a time and try to keep it coherent.

I'll start with a couple of words for the post title: The Problem...

I wouldn't put pressure on yourself. You post what you post, so be it. Sometimes it speaks to you and other times it doesn't. This is supposed to be fun, man. Even today's post was fun and it had very little content.

You're blog is great. Every page a testimony to something. Even if it's something small.

Look at it on the whole. Better, right?

laurenbove...we don't be talking doughnuts here at Sylow's place, because we don't know what the wind be.

(See Sylow's previous post.)

Idea! How about a fictional rendition of how I came to your blog and the abominable way I was treated? ;-)

harumph with panties in a bunch...how about a post on the "solar plexus?"

I like you Sylow because you are smart and well-read and write with a pithy urgency that makes me way interested in all that you say...you are real, even in blogland...now get some sleep.

In the morning whatever you write about will be blogwothy because this is your blog and we're all uninvited guests.

Picture us naked..oh, that's a remedy for fear of public speaking..never mind.
