Video of Charmaine Neville: New Orleans Evacuee

This woman's story is pretty heart breaking.

We've acounted for everyone we know in New Orleans. One friend, who is a nurse, was stranded in University Hospital until saturday. She hadn't heard from her family or her girlfriend until yesterday. Another friend was able to take a look at his house yesterday. The house he just bought is fine. The house he's been trying to sell for a couple months is still under water.

Crazy stuff.

Oh, yeah we're fine. My wife used to live in New Orleans, so we still know lots of folks down there. Our only stress is that we live too far away to feel useful right now.

Thanks for checking. :)

Right...we are too far away to roll up our sleeves and dip into the sludge and guck to help...so we send money but, it never makes you feel good...good enough...sometimes is just not enough

so sad,

hope your friends are okay Sylow...
